She's still insecure in a lot of ways and I reassure her a lot, but I don't mind, and I just keep telling her over and over how proud we are of her. And yes, the perfectionist thing is right there. It breaks my heart too. I hope she's proud, cause I sure am proud of her. :-)Our Adventures As A Family of 4....https://www.blogger.com/profile/01960033723429432259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2341832251199931304.post-70040499414980856882013-04-05T18:31:53.703-07:002013-04-05T18:31:53.703-07:00Wow, congratulations to BGA on her huge accomplish...Wow, congratulations to BGA on her huge accomplishment! You two are such great parents, both in supporting her and letting her know how proud you are, and in giving her a safe space to talk about her worries. Actually, congratulations to you all.

MaggieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2341832251199931304.post-29500478259921764762013-04-04T17:08:30.793-07:002013-04-04T17:08:30.793-07:00Oh Molly, congratulations to BGA. I feel so badly for her though, saying that about her BF not knowing she won the award. I wonder if she feels that they relinquished her because she didn't deserve to be kept? You know how our kids think of things that to us make no sense but to them are absolutely real. So many of our kids are perfectionists because of the fear of being relinquished again--you know, they try to be so, so good so that no one will want to give them up again. It breaks my heart.
In any case, she should feel proud of the hard work she has done.
I'm giggling at the image of you in Dave's car. You pipsqueak you. ;-)
Casa Bicicletahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01877164617383384452noreply@blogger.com
